Karakter Morfologi dan Hasil Sorgum Manis (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench) yang Diberi Palm Oil Mill Effluent dan KCl di Lahan Konversi Kelapa Sawit.

Sorgum merupakan salah satu tanaman yang dapat memberikan banyak manfaat diantaranya dari biji menghasilkan tepung sebagai pengganti gandum, batang gula dan hijauan pakan ternak. Berdasarkan rata-rata hasil nasional produktivitas sorgum masih rendah yaitu 2,68 ton ha -1 dengan potensi seharusnya mencapai 5-7 ha-1, maka perlu dilakukan upaya peningkatan hasil. Upaya adalah melalui penerapan teknologi budidaya menggunakan pemupukan antara lain pupuk kalium organik Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME). Oleh karena itu penelitian POME 4 taraf P 0 = Tanpa Perlakuan (kontrol), 1 200 ml + 800 air, 2 300 700 3 400 600 air pemberian K 10 g/plot, 20 30 g/plot. Penelitian ini Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial. Data pengamatan dianalisis analisis of varians (ANOVA α 5%) dilanjutkan uji beda rataan menurut Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Hasil menunjukan bahwa berbeda dosis hanya menunjukkan perbedaan nyata pada jumlah daun sedangkan klorida mempengaruhi secara karakter panjang malai, bobot per sampel plot. Dari diperoleh ada terbaik perlakuan lebih pengaruh terhadap sorgum.
